ATA Events and GoodGreef are thrilled to announce the return of Trance in the Woods for 2027. Taking place on Friday 23rd and Saturday 24th July 2027 at Thoresby Park, near Ollerton, Newark, the two-day festival promises an unforgettable weekend of immersive trance experiences.
Set across expanded festival grounds, Trance in the Woods 2027 will feature secret sets, a woodland area twice the size, and next-level production, elevating the event to new heights while staying true to its roots.

Make it a weekend and join the trance community for a full weekend of trance music by day, and trance campsite vibes by night. A camping ticket gives you access to the festival site both Friday and Saturday Glamping pods include bed frames, bedding, pillows, towels, power, lights, lockable zip (lock not provided)

Live in Vehicle upgrades allow you to bring your own motorhome/caravan and includes a power hook up per upgrade.

What are the opening times?

Camping: Check-in from 12pm Friday (last check-in 9pm)
Friday Entertainment: 4:00pm – 11:00pm (last entry for Day Passes 7pm)
Saturday: 12:00pm – 11:00pm (last entry 6pm)

Is the event accessible for disabled guests?

Yes – most of the site is flat grass and woodland. Disabled toilets and seating areas are available. Speakto Security or staff if you need assistance.

How do I get to the event?

Address: Thoresby Park, Newark, Nottinghamshire, NG22 9EQDirections: 22 miles north of Nottingham City Centre. Follow Military Museum and Courtyard signs fromthe A614, A1, A616, and A6075, then follow Trance In The Woods event signs.

How do I exit the event?

Exit the same way you entered. Camping guests return to the campsite. Taxis and parking follow thesame directions as arrival.

Can I get there via public transport?

Bus routes 14, 15, SA, 15A, and 305 pass near Thoresby Hall Hotel & Spa.

Can I leave the site and return later?

No pass-outs – once you’re in, you’re in.

What age do I need to be? Do I need ID?

You must be 18+ to attend. Challenge 25 policy applies – bring valid ID.

Is there a dress code?

It’s a festival – go wild!

Will set times be released?

Limited edition lanyards with the event program are available on FIXR when purchasing tickets and on-site from the Merchandise stall.

What if I lose something?

Lost Property will be listed on our social media after the event.

What time does the campsite open?

All on-site accommodation is available for the whole weekend, including Friday pre-party entertainment.
Check-in: 12pm Friday (last check-in 9pm)
Check-out: 12pm Sunday

Parking for campers

Tent & Glamping campers receive one free parking space (not next to tents)Caravan parking: We aim to park next to your caravan; otherwise, use the Main Camping Car Park (1minute walk).Motorhome parking: Follow event signs for designated spaces.

Can I bring alcohol?

Alcohol is permitted in the campsite only, with limits of 12 cans or 1 bottle of wine/spirits per person.
Glass bottles must be decanted into plastic. No kegs allowed.
Food/alcohol cannot be brought into the festival area.

Can I bring food into the campsite?

Yes – no glass and no BBQs. Festival site rules still apply.

Can I bring cooking equipment?

Gas burners allowed.No BBQs.

Are showers provided?

Yes, showers are available for campers, glampers, and motorhomes in designated areas.

Are toilets provided?

Can I charge my phone?

Yes – max size A4 or smaller. All bags will be searched on entry.

Glass bottles and aerosols are banned. Roll-on deodorant is allowed.
